Hiring: Big Query DBA / Administrator (Core DBA Only) ❌ Not looking for Big Data Engineers. ⚠️ Important: This role is strictly for core DBA / Admin profiles. 📍 Location: Ashburn, VA (Onsite) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Big Query DBA / Admin to manage and support enterprise-scale data warehouse environments on GCP, with a strong focus on administration, performance tuning, security, and stability. Required Experience & Skills 8+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer or DBA 3+ years of hands-on Big Query administration in production Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization expertise Hands-on experience with GCP services: Big Query Composer / Airflow Dataflow Cloud Storage Pub/Sub Monitoring & Logging Experience with EDW platform migrations and enterprise-scale data environments Strong understanding of IAM, security controls, networking basics, and DR strategies Experience with scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash This is an onsite, hands-on DBA role suited for candidates who specialize in Big Query administration, governance, and performance—not data engineering Wishing you a wonderful day ahead!
