Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field; Master's preferred. • 2+ years of hands-on experience with data analysis, AI modeling, or business intelligence tools. • Experience with SAS Viya, especially SAS Visual Analytics and Model Studio, is highly preferred. • Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or other “data” programming languages. • Understanding of ethical AI, data privacy, and public sector challenges a plus. • Ideal Candidate Qualities: Results-Driven: Delivers high-quality, measurable outcomes that enhance resident services and internal efficiency. Technical Expertise: • Applies advanced analytical skills with creativity and care; stays current with emerging AI trends. • Collaborative: Works seamlessly across departments, values diverse perspectives, and contributes to a team-first environment. • Take-Charge Attitude: Proactively identifies opportunities, solves problems without waiting for direction, and takes ownership of outcomes. • Service-Oriented: Balances technical work with a clear focus on improving public services and resident experiences. • Ethical and Inclusive: Champions fairness, equity, and transparency in how data and AI are applied in public systems.
