Data and AI DevOps Engineer
Start: 3-4 weeks from date of offer
Location: Remote - work done on CST/EST hours

β’ Job Summary: The Data and AI DevOps Engineer II designs, builds, enhances, and supports full
stack applications for production systems and skunkworks initiatives. This role emphasizes
execution, ownership, and problem-solving, working closely with architects and senior engineers
to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions. The position supports both core product
development and marketing-driven initiatives and may be performed remotely, in a hybrid
arrangement, or on-site depending on team needs.
β Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Next.js (frontend) and
Node.js (backend).
β Implement and consume APIs, including authentication and authorization
mechanisms.
β Build user interfaces using Tailwind CSS and modern CSS best practices.
β Integrate AI capabilities (e.g., calling LLM or machine learning APIs and
implementing prompt-driven features).
β Use basic SQL to query data, perform joins, and troubleshoot data-related issues.
β Own assigned features end-to-end from initial investigation through
implementation and defined support/hand-off.
β Rapidly prototype new concepts and evolve them into production-quality
solutions.
β Deploy, operate, and support applications hosted in Microsoft Azure.
β Troubleshoot application, integration, and operational issues as they arise.
β Provide development and integration support for marketing use cases leveraging
Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and related Adobe tools (training provided).
β Produce and maintain clear technical documentation in Confluence and related
knowledge bases.
β Collaborate with architects, senior engineers, product teams, and stakeholders;
participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
β Contribute to CI/CD pipeline configuration and deployment scripts as part of
defined build scope.
β Create/maintain build artifacts and technical documentation (implementation
notes, configuration references) tied to deliverables.
β Execute and document initial test runs (smoke/integration) required for go-live
readiness in coordination with QA.
β Participate in code reviews and address defects found during initial testing.
Education / Experience / KSAs:
β Education: Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or
related field; or Associate degree with additional relevant professional
experience; or High School Diploma/GED with additional relevant professional
experience.
β Experience: 3β6 years of professional experience as a full stack developer.
β Minimum KSAs: Strong modern JavaScript development (React/Next.js);
backend development with Node.js; API authN/authZ (OAuth, JWT, token-
based); Tailwind CSS; basic SQL (queries/joins/troubleshooting); experience
deploying/supporting apps in Azure (preferred) or AWS; exposure integrating
AI/LLM services; ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion;
strong written communication for technical documentation.
β Certification/Licensure: None required.
β Experience with source control and modern CI/CD workflows.
β Working knowledge of scripting/programming for automation (e.g., Python,
Bash, PowerShell).
β Ability to follow established engineering standards and produce clear
implementation documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
β Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments.
β Prior exposure to Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or other Adobe marketing
tools.
β Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native services, and operational best
practices.
β Experience balancing experimental/skunkworks initiatives with production-
quality delivery.
β Familiarity with automated testing and release readiness practices.
β Experience supporting internal analytics or AI platforms.
