JOB DESCRIPTION
A banking employer is seeking a Data Analyst to support the transformation of manual Excel-based processes into automated, script-driven tools. The analyst would be a part of the audit team, who is trying to build out the data analytics group in their organization. The analyst would be assessing the current data analytics sets that are in Excel, documenting existing audit analytics, and converting them into scalable solutions using Python and AuditBoard. The analyst will manipulate datasets and be able to communicate and collaborate with the team to explain and enhance analytics workflows. The role also includes identifying opportunities to develop new analytics from sets of existing ones as well. The ideal candidate should have strong coding skills and excellent communication skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5 years of experience as a data analyst
Experience scripting using Python
Experience using AuditBoard as a data analytics took
Experience working within Audit or Compliance to follow/recommend best practices
