Are you an experienced Data Analyst with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to work in Hillsboro, OR. Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to develop Power BI dashboards that integrate data from various sources, including Azure DevOps (ADO), Excel, and cross-organizational databases. The role also involves converting manual processes into live data visualizations, maintaining the existing dashboard backend in ADO, fixing bugs, and generating reports to support business objectives. The team is dedicated to hardware and infrastructure creation and management, with a specific focus on roadmap planning. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: • Collaborate with senior management, technical teams, and clients to determine data requirements, implement business data strategies, and establish best practices for data manipulation, storage, and analysis. • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions, specifying database identifiers for management systems, or direct others in coding descriptions. • Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes. • Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make necessary changes. • Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications.\\ • The primary focus of this role is to create automated dashboards that pull data from various sources, including Azure DevOps (ADO), Excel, and cross-organizational databases, and to convert manual processes into live data visualizations. Daily tasks include working on ADO tickets, building Power BI dashboards, and participating in meetings with stakeholders. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. • 2-4 years of relevant experience. • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. • Power BI coding experience: 3-5 years. • Database experience: 3-5 years. • ADO experience: 3-5 years. Preferred: • Experience with database technologies. • Knowledge of the ETL process. • Proficiency in at least one scripting language. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated history of success. • A passion for working with data and helping businesses make data-driven decisions. • Attention to detail. • Timely delivery with quality.
