Role description
Join a dynamic team as a Data Analyst 2, where you will play a crucial role in analyzing data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities • Write and execute intermediate SQL queries to extract data for analysis and client inquiries. • Utilize production reports to assess data quality and perform in-depth research. • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends related to fraud, waste, and abuse within claims data. • Engage with clients to manage and triage operational inquiries efficiently. • Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues. • Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, ensuring high-quality outcomes through research and interpretation of complex datasets. Skills • Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing SQL queries and data analysis. • Proven experience in fraud, waste, and abuse data mining. • Strong analytical skills with a focus on healthcare claims data. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools. • Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction. Preferred Skills • Industry certifications such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). • Experience with statistical data analysis and Medicaid policy. • Familiarity with healthcare claim adjudication systems.
