Job Title: Data Analyst 3 Location: Fully Remote (Candidates should either work PST or EST hours) Contract Duration: 3 months (High possibility for an extension) Daily Schedule & OT estimate: 40 hours/week – no OT Max Bill Rate: $45 to $52/hr on W2 Candidate Requirements • Years of Experience Required: 5–7 years in related field. • Education/Certifications: Degree in supply chain operations, trade, international trade, data science, or related field. • Disqualifiers: None. • Ideal Candidate (Best vs. Average): • Strong technical reporting/data background. • Experience building data processes from scratch. • Supply chain analytics experience (transportation, warehouse, ordering, manufacturing). • Bonus: International trade experience, international shipping, customs, or brokerage. • Performance Indicators: Meeting timelines, quality of data reports, and deliverables. Role Summary The Data Analyst coordinates database changes, tests systems, and implements database solutions applying knowledge of database management systems. Job Responsibilities • Partner with senior management, technical, and client teams to determine data requirements and implementation approaches. • Define best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies. • Write and code logical/physical database descriptions and direct others in coding descriptions. • Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes. • Modify existing databases and/or direct analysts/programmers in making changes. • Test programs/databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications. Top 3 Hard Skills Required • Data Analysis & Visualization (5+ years): SQL, Tableau, or Power BI. • Supply Chain Operations (5+ years). • Stakeholder Collaboration (5+ years): Gathering requirements and presenting data to cross-functional teams. Skills • Experience with database technologies. • Knowledge of ETL processes. • Proficiency with at least one scripting language. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • Proven track record of success. • Passion for data-driven decision making. Education & Experience • Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain, or related technical field. • Experience: 5–7 years relevant professional experience.
