Immediate need for a talented Data Analyst 3. This is a 05 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S(Remote). Key Responsibilities: • The client’s Data Strategy team supports data products and analytics initiatives for departments across the organization. • Our team partners with key stakeholders from each department to drive data solutions and insights. • The Data Strategy team is supported by Product Managers, Business Analysts, and an IT Data Engineering team to drive these solutions. • We are currently in the middle of a transformation project that involves a rebuild of all data infrastructure and core operating platforms in the organization. • Review and resolve data requests that come in through our ticketing queue. • Meet with stakeholders in our various departments to review request and refine requirements. • Write SQL queries to answer specific business questions • Create data visualizations to support analysis efforts in Excel or Power BI. • Investigate and resolve issues with existing reports or dashboards. • Deliver requested reports on time. • Reduce request backlog. • Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in all or some of the following areas: claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting. • Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources. • Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management. • Develop reports and deliverables for management. • Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data warehouse analytical tools. • Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis. • Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Complies with all policies and standards. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • 4 years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience. • A Bachelor’s Degree is required. • Experience with SQL, Power BI and MS Excel is required.
