Role description
Position: Data Analyst I (Contract) Location: Newark, DE (Onsite) Duration: Oct 2025 - Oct 2026 Our client, a national bank, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to support a critical data enhancement initiative. The successful candidate will play a key role in validating data inputs, performing quality assurance and control (QA/QC) reviews, and updating our custodian system to ensure complete, accurate, and consistent data capture across systems and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Review and validate data inputs from sourcing documentation or systems. Identify and populate missing data fields in the custodian system. Conduct thorough QA/QC reviews to ensure data integrity and completeness. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate data capture, validation, and updates. Track and monitor the progress of data capture and review across various phases. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the data lifecycle. Support additional ad hoc data-related projects as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to identify data gaps and take initiative to resolve discrepancies. Proficiency with data systems, documentation review, and record-keeping. Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork. Experience with data validation and quality control processes is a plus. Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in data analysis, information systems, or a related field.
