Role description
We're partnering with a fast-growing financial services firm in the DC area (FinServe) to add a Data Analyst to their lean, high-impact data team. This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to senior leadership and a chance to shape how data drives decisions across multiple business functions. As a Data Analyst, you’ll help build and maintain the internal analytics infrastructure that supports teams across operations, accounting, and investor relations. Your day-to-day will involve developing data models, building dashboards, and translating business needs into actionable insights. What You’ll Do: β€’ Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand data needs and deliver insights β€’ Design and implement data models that support operational and strategic goals β€’ Build interactive dashboards and reports to monitor key business metrics β€’ Collaborate closely with a small, agile data team and senior leadership β€’ Drive improvements in data accessibility, quality, and usability What We're Looking For: β€’ Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets β€’ Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) β€’ Comfort working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams β€’ Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations β€’ Experience in financial services or a related industry is a plus This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in how data informs business strategy.
