About The Role
β’ The Digital Imaging (Photoshop and Lightroom) Data Science Team is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer who is passionate about data and driving the direction of products that allow millions of people bring their creativity to light. Working alongside a robust team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers, you will build a data architecture that supports accurate and efficient decision making. Stitching a large volume of data together across multiple sources, you will develop and implement scalable data pipelines, and self-service dashboards that highlight actionable insights.
β’ The ideal candidate for this role will have strong data infrastructure and data architecture skills, proven success working with large datasets across multiple business units, solid project management skills, and a vision for driving BI services in a fluid environment. Key Responsibilities
β’ Build and maintain dashboards to track product and user health.
β’ Proactively identify usage trends and communicate relevant insights to assist product decision-making.
β’ Partner closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Growth to drive actionable data requirements.
β’ Automate and optimize data pipelines using SQL and/or Python-based ETL Frameworks.
β’ Maintain technical standards and platform documentation (i.e., data dictionary, style guide, ERD).
β’ Assist in growing the businessβ usage of Business Intelligence tools to drive efficiency in reporting.
β’ Diagnose platform performance gaps and provide recommendations to improve scale.
Required Skills & Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
β’ 6-10 years of hands-on experience working with large scale data, developing innovative data solutions in a cloud environment.
β’ Demonstrated experience incepting and driving projects independently.
β’ Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
β’ Extensive experience with BI platforms (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
β’ Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration platforms (i.e., Airflow, MuleSoft, SnapLogic).
β’ Ability to optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability.
β’ Knowledge of data modeling concepts and database design methodologies.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
β’ Strong communication and presentation skills.
β’ Experience with modern cloud platforms (i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP).
β’ Experience with Databricks (on Azure or AWS) is a plus.
β’ Experience with web analytics platforms (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) is a plus.
Compensation
β’ $70.43 per hour.
