Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: CST core hours, WFH/Remote
Employment Type: Contract role, 40 hours per week. Six-month stage gate with the potential for conversion and extension.
Pay: $36-$42/hr
Position Summary
Weβre seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to unlock insights that drive smart decisions across the business. This role will focus on analyzing large and complex datasets spanning marketing, supply chain, and sales functions. The analyst will play a key role in uncovering trends, identifying inefficiencies, and delivering actionable reporting that supports cross-functional teams and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Build and maintain insightful dashboards in Power BI to support decision-making and enable self-service analytics.
β’ Create and manage robust Excel-based reports to deliver key metrics and support ongoing business needs.
β’ Execute ad-hoc reporting requests and respond to data inquiries.
β’ Identify and resolve data inconsistencies; implement practical solutions.
β’ Clean, transform, and manage large datasets to expose new attributes and support advanced reporting.
β’ Write and refine SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
β’ Optimize current reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related fieldβor equivalent relevant experience.
β’ 2+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytics roles.
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
β’ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify trends.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity.
β’ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
