This role combines deep analytical skills with strong business acumen and technical knowledge, including SQL, data visualization, and statistical analysis. You'll collaborate closely with business units, data engineers, and data scientists to optimize workflows and improve data quality across the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Partner with business stakeholders to gather data needs and translate them into impactful analytical solutions. • Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key business drivers. • Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to communicate insights effectively. • Collaborate with data engineering teams to support and improve ETL pipelines and data models. • Use statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to uncover predictive insights and support business optimization. • Maintain data documentation, dictionaries, and models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality. • Proactively monitor and resolve data quality issues and anomalies. • Support cross-functional teams with data analysis and contribute to the development of data literacy within the organization. • Contribute to business case development, project scoping, and prioritization of analytics efforts. • Stay current with industry trends in data analytics, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies. Minimum Qualifications: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Experience: • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or related role. • Proficient in SQL, with experience querying and managing large datasets. • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS. • Familiarity with data warehousing tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP HANA, BigQuery). • Programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and automation. • Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and basic ML/statistical concepts. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in utility or regulated industries. • Background in data governance practices. • Project management skills and experience leading small analytical initiatives.
