Overview
Seeking Cost Engineers to support cost optimization and automation initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on analyzing large datasets, developing reporting tools, improving cost visibility, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive operational and financial efficiencies. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical capabilities, experience with reporting and visualization tools, and an understanding of manufacturing or engineering processes.
Job Description
• Analyze and mine large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and cost-saving opportunities
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools
• Translate business requirements into data models and visualization solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting and operational needs
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs
• Present findings and recommendations through reports and visual presentations
• Support manufacturing cost reduction and optimization initiatives
• Assist with material cost analysis and financial reporting processes
• Work with relational databases and reporting tools to improve operational visibility
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Cost Engineering, Manufacturing Process Optimization, Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–3 years of data analysis or related experience (internships accepted with Bachelor’s degree)
• Strong SQL and Excel skills
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools
• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of manufacturing or operations environments
