Data Analyst – Markets Program Execution & Transformation
📍 Belfast | £530/day (Umbrella) | 11-Month Contract | ASAP Start
Are you an experienced Data Analyst with strong SQL and Tableau expertise? We are seeking a skilled contractor to support a high-visibility programme within the Data Acquisition Group.
This role plays a key part in delivering data-driven solutions that support regulatory, strategic, and discretionary change initiatives across the Markets business.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and optimise SQL scripts, including reconciliation and performance tuning
• Build and enhance Tableau dashboards and streamline data pipelines
• Recommend improvements to reporting processes and data architecture
• Work closely with stakeholders to improve efficiency, simplify processes, and enhance performance
• Create project artefacts such as BRDs, FRDs, UAT documentation, and project plans
• Translate architecture and requirements into effective technical designs
• Provide technical direction and leadership on complex, high-impact deliverables
• Promote continuous improvement across code quality, testing, and reliability
• Serve as an SME for Tableau best practices
• Manage day-to-day project tasks to meet deadlines and quality expectations
💡 Key Skills Required
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Python
• Experience delivering successful data-focused projects
• Ability to work within large, complex programmes
⭐ Preferred Skills
• Experience in consulting or project management environments
• Exposure to AWS, Hadoop tools (Hive, Sqoop), MongoDB, or other modern data platforms
• Experience using JIRA for task and project tracking
