Data Analyst

A leading innovator in high‑performance computing, AI, and advanced hardware systems is seeking a hands‑on Data Analyst / Reporting Engineer to support next‑generation server product teams. This individual will focus heavily on front‑end reporting, SAP data extraction, and building intuitive Power BI dashboards that guide engineering, manufacturing, and quality decisions. This role is ideal for someone energetic, proactive, and comfortable working directly with engineering teams in a fast‑moving, on‑site environment. Strong SAP experience is critical. Key Responsibilities • Extract and interpret SAP datasets to support engineering, operations, and product quality teams. • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards (Power BI primarily; Tableau secondary). • Transform raw operational, customer, and manufacturing data into clean, usable reporting formats. • Perform log analysis, quality trend analysis, return rate reviews, and build‑tracking metrics. • Standardize reporting templates and improve visibility into engineering + customer data. • Collaborate with backend and infrastructure partners to ensure accurate data sources and live dashboards. • Communicate insights clearly to cross‑functional teams and support decision‑making. • Streamline manual reporting workflows and assist in connecting SAP data to cloud‑based systems. Required Skills • 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar technical analyst role. • Strong SAP experience (must‑have). • Advanced Power BI skills; experience building usable front‑end dashboards. • Working knowledge of Tableau. • Solid SQL understanding and experience working with structured datasets. • Comfortable partnering with engineering, operations, and quality stakeholders. • Strong communication skills, proactive problem‑solving, and ability to quickly learn new datasets. • Must thrive in an on‑site, collaborative, fast‑paced engineering environment. Plusses • Experience in mid‑sized tech or hardware companies (e.g., Snowflake‑type environments). • Familiarity with SAP → cloud database connections. • Light Python scripting. • Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse tools. • Experience supporting mass production, manufacturing, or hardware engineering teams.
