Role description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in data management and reporting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with a sense of urgency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to data-driven decision-making, and ensure high-quality outputs that meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
Database Access & Management
• Query and manage data from Snowflake, SQL Server, and other relational databases.
• Integrate data from ServiceNow, SCCM, Jamf, Wiz, and other sources into centralized datasets for analysis.
• Maintain and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Conduct exploratory and statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Automate recurring reports and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.
Tool Integration & Governance
• Collaborate with platform owners to ensure accurate and consistent data ingestion across systems.
• Reconcile discrepancies between entitlement data and system records (e.g., unauthorized software installations).
• Support compliance and audit initiatives by producing validated reports and documentation.
Documentation & Collaboration
• Create and maintain SOPs, data dictionaries, and system documentation.
• Provide guidance on analytical methodologies and best practices.
• Communicate findings clearly through reports, presentations, and cross-functional meetings.
• Partner with IT, asset management, and governance teams to align data strategies and support strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in a data analyst role or related field.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, SQL Server, and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data integration from enterprise systems (ServiceNow, SCCM, Jamf, Wiz).
