Data Analyst

Position Overview Our client, a PR agency, is looking for a freelance Data Analyst to join their team for about 20 hours a week for 2-3 months starting as soon as identified. As the Data Analyst, you will be supporting the Senior Vice President to build out an interactive dashboard in Looker Studio for one of their clients. The Data Analyst will be helping the agency and their client take a deeper and more strategic look at the data of their media coverage across business lines and initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and enhance existing media coverage data (tracked in Google Sheets) by adding insights such as: • Business line attribution • Initiative alignment • Featured company representatives • Design and build a visual, interactive dashboard in Looker Studio connected to Google Sheets • Ensure the dashboard displays media coverage over time and includes filters for business line, media outlet, and other attributes • Create a scalable, templated dashboard framework for future use across agency clients • Collaborate with internal teams to refine media tracking processes and identify new data elements • Train agency team members on how to understand, use, and build dashboards in Looker Studio Qualifications • 3+ years of experience working with media or communications data • Strong proficiency in Looker Studio and Google SheetsAbility to translate media data into actionable insights • Experience teaching or training teams on dashboard tools • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote settings In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
