Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer – Guidewire Billing Center

Job Title: Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer – Guidewire BillingCenter Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking a Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer with strong experience in Guidewire BillingCenter and its underlying data model. This role will support enterprise reporting, troubleshoot upstream data issues, reconcile data extracts, and help build metadata and semantic models for AI and enterprise data initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and support data within the Guidewire BillingCenter platform • Work with the BillingCenter data model, including • Billing Transactions • Invoice • Billing Streams • Charge Patterns • Commissions • Accounts Receivable (AR) • Accounts Payable (AP) • Cash Tie-Outs • General Ledger (GL) • Troubleshoot data issues and reconcile data extracts across source systems • Define business metadata, data definitions, and semantic models to support enterprise analytics and AI initiatives • Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve data quality and reporting Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar role • Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter and its data model • Experience with AR, AP, GL, and financial reporting • Strong SQL and data analysis skills • Experience with data reconciliation and troubleshooting Preferred Qualifications • Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance experience • Experience with metadata management and semantic modeling • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, or similar analytics platforms
