Data Analyst (Broker-Dealer and Wealth Management/RIA)

Job Title: Senior IT Business Analyst / Data Analyst (Broker-Dealer and Wealth Management/RIA ) Location: Remote Duration: 8-10 weeks possible extension Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst / Data Analyst with deep expertise in the Broker-Dealer and Wealth Management/RIA domain. This role will focus on analyzing complex financial and operational datasets, including Albridge (Pershing X), custodian data, and commissions data, and translating insights into actionable business intelligence. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills across Snowflake, MS SQL, Power BI, and other BI/reporting tools, along with the ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to drive data-informed decisions. Key Responsibilities • Analyze custodian data, Albridge (Pershing X) data, commissions data, and internal operational datasets. • Conduct domain-specific analysis and clearly present findings, insights, and recommendations. • Propose next-step solutions based on data analysis and business requirements. • Partner with business stakeholders and SMEs to gather requirements and validate analytical outputs. • Develop data queries and integrate results into BI dashboards and reports for executive and business review. • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of data outputs. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and analytics objectives. Required Qualifications • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst in a financial services environment. • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and data analysis workflows. • Proficiency in Power BI and other business intelligence/reporting tools. • Solid understanding of Wealth Management, Broker-Dealer, or RIA business models. • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards. • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a global, virtual team environment. • High level of professionalism, service orientation, and accountability.
