Role description
OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and be proficient in various tools and methodologies to extract insights from complex datasets. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives through data-driven decision-making. Duties Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant solutions. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize data effectively. Implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis. Participate in Agile project management methodologies to deliver timely results. Conduct business analysis to assess the impact of changes on processes and systems. Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for advanced data manipulation and analysis. Design and optimize databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other database management systems. Document processes using Visio for clear communication of workflows and system designs. Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing insights during various project phases. Requirements Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend for data integration tasks. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management principles. Understanding of linked data concepts and database design principles. Experience with scripting languages such as VBA or Bash (Unix shell) is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders. A degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analysis is preferred.
