Key Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in data engineering or analytics roles, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven expertise in building and maintaining ETL pipelines, integrating structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
Proficient in SQL, Python, and data wrangling libraries (Pandas, PySpark, MatplotLib etc.).
Experience with automation tools and scripting to reduce manual processes and improve data reliability.
Strong proficiency in data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau.
Demonstrated experience in API interaction with internal or third-party tools to interface and consolidate data from multiple systems.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, and standardization principles for scalable digitization.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, engineering, and other business teams to define requirements and deliver insights.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently present to management/leadership.
Proven track record of being results and action-oriented, driving projects to successful completion.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with an innate ability to lead several work streams effectively.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills and attention to detail while managing complex projects.
Job Responsibilities:
β’ Working with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for generating automations, visualizations, and analysis of factory-level data to track and improve quality, process, and operational performance.
β’ Design and deploy interactive dashboards in Tableau that helps team determine gap in operations for targeted audits.
β’ Lead in driving maximum utilization of automation bots.
β’ Work closely with cross-functional teams to build and expand standardized processes through automation across projects and factories.
Education:
β’ BS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Big Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months (with a possibility to extend up to 18 months)
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (100% on site)
Pay Range: $ 45.00 - $ 60.00 (DOE)
