Data Analyst - Commercial Lending

Apex Systems is currently hiring for Commercial Lending Data Analyst- with a large financial client. Location: United States Onsite expectation: Charlotte, NC / Plano, TX / Minneapolis, MN / Chandler, AZ 3x a week onsite - hybrid Pay range: $ 53-60/hr No C2C, 1099, or third-party submissions will be accepted Overview: We’re seeking a highly experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in commercial banking and lending. This role focuses on analyzing and standardizing complex loan data across various systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge and a proven track record working with commercial loan products and data environments. Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills: • 7–10+ years of experience in Business/Data Analysis within financial services, preferably with large banks. • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial lending, including loan origination systems, loan lifecycle, and data related to facilities, commitments, and obligations. • Strong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, or databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata. • Experience with data quality, lineage, and conformance, ideally within a data governance or regulatory reporting context. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including backlog creation, user stories, and tools like JIRA. • Understanding of BCBS 239 data principles and exposure to regulatory reporting (e.g., Y14Q) is a plus.
