For more information, visit SolomonEdwards Position Summary: We are seeking a Data Analyst to join a leading global media and entertainment organization with operations across multiple business units and extensive archival collections. This role will support enterprise-wide data migration, metadata management, digital asset inventory, and reporting initiatives focused on modernizing legacy systems and improving data accessibility, quality, and governance. Essential Duties: • Analyze legacy datasets to support data cleanup, consolidation, and standardization initiatives. • Perform data mining, validation, and quality control across multiple systems. • Manage metadata, inventory records, and digital asset information. • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. • Generate regular and ad hoc reporting to support business decisions. • Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to meet project milestones. • Troubleshoot data, content, and system issues and escalate when necessary. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Bachelor's degree preferred. • Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) strongly preferred. • Experience working with large datasets across multiple applications. • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, metadata, and taxonomy standards. • Experience with asset inventory management and recordkeeping. • Experience with reporting, dashboarding, and data visualization tools. • Strong project management and organizational skills. • Experience supporting content strategy and planning initiatives. • Media, entertainment, or archive management experience preferred. Skills and Job-Specific Competencies: • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms. • Knowledge of metadata management and taxonomy standards. • Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and reporting. • Working knowledge of XML. • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro. • Experience with FileMaker databases. • Proficiency in Microsoft Access. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis. • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS). • Professional Competencies. • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Sound judgment with the ability to make independent decisions. • Strong collaboration and stakeholder relationship management skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
