Overview
• We are seeking a Data Analyst to support a large‐scale regulatory transformation programme for a leading organisation.
• In this role, you will play a critical part in responding to regulatory discovery requests from multiple state commissions by extracting, validating, analysing, and presenting complex datasets.
• You will work across all programme towers and partner closely with Compliance Analysts and regulatory teams to ensure accurate, timely, and high‐quality data responses that support compliance and legal obligations.
• This is a highly visible, fast‐paced role within a collaborative, cross‐functional environment, offering exposure to complex regulatory and transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Respond to regulatory discovery requests from state commissions and internal stakeholders
• Extract, validate, cleanse, and analyse data related to:

• Pull data from multiple systems and sources, including databases and reporting platforms
• Perform data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and deliver clear data outputs to support regulatory, compliance, and legal responses
• Design, code, test, and document ETL processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures as required
• Create and publish scheduled and ad hoc reports and dashboards
• Partner with Compliance Analysts, regulatory teams, case specialists, and managers across the programme
• Document reporting requirements, processes, and data definitions
• Present data insights clearly and understandably to a broad, non‐technical audience
Required Qualifications
• 3–7 years of experience in a data analyst or reporting role
• Expert‐level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
• Strong experience in data validation, quality assurance, and reporting
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL querying
• Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce

• Proven problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the utility industry
• Prior work on regulatory, compliance, or large‐scale transformation projects
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to tell a clear, compelling story with data, not just produce reports.
