Data Analyst

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, evaluate performance, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively. Employment Type This position will start out as a contract and may be eligible for extension and/or conversion. Location Charlotte, NC Key Responsibilities • Analyze complex data sets using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. • Design, build, and maintain data analysis models, data collection processes, and reporting solutions that improve data quality and efficiency. • Gather and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability. • Translate raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic, operational, and financial decisions. • Organize, clean, and transform data into clear, usable formats for analysis and reporting. • Develop visualizations, dashboards, and reports using charts, graphs, and diagrams to make insights easy to understand. • Perform business and product-focused analyses, including forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, impact assessments, and invest/divest evaluations. • Apply data mining techniques to uncover correlations, trends, and actionable insights within large datasets. • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels, tailoring communication to technical and non-technical audiences. • Build, automate, and iterate on reporting and dashboards to deliver scalable, ongoing insights. • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and deliver end-to-end analytical solutions, from data collection through presentation. Desired Experience and Skills • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience. • Strong proficiency with data and analytics tools, including Power BI, SQL, advanced Microsoft Excel, statistics, and SAS. • Demonstrated attention to detail with strong problem-solving and sound business judgment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret metrics, trends, and performance indicators using statistical and measurement techniques.
