Role description
Data Analyst - Remote - Short-term fixed term contract until 31/10/2025 Are you an excellent problem solver with an Analytical mind looking for a new and exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, fantastic company? If you have experience of Alteryx or Power BI and are used to dealing with large data sets then we would love to hear from you! We are currently looking for Data Analyst to support the Analytics & Insights team at our Kidlington site, with creation of reports & dashboards, in order to monitor sales performance, marketing activities and return on investment. Responsibilities: β€’ Creation of reports & dashboards to monitor sales performance & marketing activities β€’ Creation of suite of reports to monitor Customer Lifecycle activities β€’ Day to day management of month end reporting process β€’ Generates insights and delivers to marketing teams β€’ Contribute to improvements in Marketing Return on Investment Using visualisation software (Power BI) to produce insights, dashboards & reports. Updates Customer segmentation models β€’ Updates customer segmentation process each week β€’ Reviews results and makes appropriate improvements to processes β€’ Generates insights and delivers these to wider Marketing team Data preparation and data blending β€’ Using Alteryx to manipulate and clean data β€’ Combining data from disparate sources β€’ Liaising with IT teams to resolve data quality issues Ensures adherence with reporting requirements β€’ Reviews requirements for reporting and identifies requirements for changes to procedures β€’ Liaises with Line Manager to develop reporting protocols and define information requirements β€’ Communicates reporting requirements and coordinates information collection Required skills & experience: β€’ Bachelor's degree in business, statistics/analytics, marketing or related field β€’ Experience in business analysis, continuous improvement / lean manufacturing leadership, analytical role or a related field β€’ Advanced technical skills with proficiency in PowerBI, data ETL, visualisation tools, MS Office β€’ Self-starter with the ability to develop and implement strategies in line with the company's business vision β€’ Excellent problem-solving, reasoning and analytical ability β€’ Experienced in deploying data-driven decision making β€’ Ability to interpret complex information and identify improvement opportunities β€’ Demonstrates an aptitude for attention to detail in their work β€’ Comfortable dealing with large data sets β€’ Driven by success with a high degree of energy, motivation and confidence β€’ Ability to manage multiple projects with cross functional teams from all levels of the organization β€’ Ability to collaborate, motivate and influence stakeholders to accomplish goals β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication β€’ Motivated, persuasive, dedicated β€’ Must be a positive thinker and a team player β€’ Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills β€’ Experience with Alteryx - desirable What we offer: β€’ Attractive Salary β€’ Up to 5% matched pension contribution β€’ 4x annual salary life assurance β€’ 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata) β€’ Employee discounts platform β€’ Eyecare Vouchers β€’ Employee Assistance Programme Essentra plc is a leading global provider of essential components and solutions, focusing on the manufacture and distribution of plastic injection moulded, vinyl dip moulded and metal items.
