Role description
Data Analyst (Hybrid — Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO)
We’re hiring a Data Analyst to join a growing analytics team supporting a leading energy organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data end-to-end — not just building reports, but helping teams understand what the data actually means and what to do next.
If you like turning complex data into clear, actionable insights and working closely with business partners, this role will give you strong visibility and real ownership.
About the Client
Our Client is a well-established energy company serving millions of customers across multiple states. The organization is known for stability, strong leadership, and investing in data-driven decision-making across the business. The analytics team plays a key role in shaping strategy and improving performance across departments.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Work with large, complex datasets (both structured and unstructured)
• Build dashboards and reports that drive business decisions
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and success metrics
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting
• Present insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
• Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Ability to translate data into clear business insights
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with stakeholders
Why This Role Stands Out
• High visibility — your work directly impacts business decisions
• Collaborative team environment with strong cross-functional exposure
• Opportunity to move beyond reporting into real analytics and insights
• Hybrid schedule offering flexibility (2–3 days onsite)
If you're looking for a role where your work actually influences decisions — not just sits in a dashboard — this is worth a closer look.
