Role description
Mb Staffing Services is seeking a highly analytical and solutions-focused Data Analyst with strong Medicaid coding experience to support a dynamic and collaborative healthcare-focused team. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands provider and billing operations, and can effectively analyze, interpret, and manage complex healthcare data with accuracy and precision.
We are specifically seeking candidates with direct Medicaid coding experience, strong communication abilities, and the confidence to work closely with providers, vendors, and internal leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze and interpret healthcare and provider data using statistical and analytical techniques
β’ Accurately key and validate Medicaid coding information and ensure data integrity
β’ Identify, research, and resolve billing and coding discrepancies
β’ Audit provider records and coding submissions for compliance and accuracy
β’ Manage and support assigned groups of providers and vendor relationships
β’ Develop and maintain data collection systems and reporting tools
β’ Interpret trends, patterns, and performance indicators to identify issues and recommend solutions
β’ Collaborate with program managers, evaluators, quality assurance teams, and operational leadership
β’ Communicate coding, billing, and operational concerns clearly and professionally
β’ Support continuous process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
β’ Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within agency systems
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree required
β’ Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, coding, or related field
β’ Direct Medicaid coding experience is REQUIRED and considered the top priority
β’ Strong knowledge of healthcare billing processes and coding standards
β’ Experience auditing records and resolving billing discrepancies
β’ Advanced attention to detail and data accuracy skills
β’ Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
β’ Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented culture
β’ Solutions-focused mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
β’ Proficiency with databases, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
