Role description
Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst & Trainer to serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams. This individual will drive requirements gathering, process optimization, user adoption, and Salesforce enablement initiatives to maximize platform ROI and operational efficiency. The role combines traditional Business Analyst responsibilities with a strong focus on training, change management, and long-term user engagement. Key Responsibilities β€’ Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements β€’ Translate business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, and functional specifications for technical teams β€’ Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews across departments β€’ Work closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, and third-party partners to support solution delivery β€’ Analyze existing business processes and recommend scalable Salesforce-driven improvements β€’ Support testing efforts including UAT coordination, defect tracking, and validation of delivered solutions β€’ Create and maintain system documentation, SOPs, training materials, and knowledge base content β€’ Lead Salesforce user onboarding, training sessions, workshops, and ongoing enablement initiatives β€’ Develop adoption strategies to improve user engagement, data quality, and process compliance β€’ Monitor platform utilization and user behavior metrics to identify training gaps and optimization opportunities β€’ Partner with leadership to track KPIs, adoption metrics, and overall Salesforce ROI β€’ Act as a trusted advisor to end users by promoting best practices and continuous improvement Required Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Consultant, or related role β€’ Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud β€’ Experience gathering requirements and translating business processes into technical solutions β€’ Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders β€’ Experience creating training programs, user guides, and conducting end-user training sessions β€’ Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills β€’ Experience with Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities β€’ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Preferred Qualifications β€’ Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or Advanced Administrator β€’ Experience with user adoption/change management initiatives β€’ Familiarity with reporting and dashboard development β€’ Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar documentation platforms β€’ Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce environments Core Skill Sets β€’ Requirements Gathering & Documentation β€’ Business Process Mapping β€’ Salesforce User Adoption & Enablement β€’ End-User Training & Change Management β€’ Stakeholder Management β€’ Cross-Functional Collaboration β€’ Agile Project Support β€’ Reporting & KPI Analysis β€’ Communication & Presentation Skills β€’ Process Optimization & ROI Delivery
