Job Summary: Calance US is a company seeking a Data Analyst to support banking and Commercial Lending projects. The role involves analyzing data to uncover insights, making recommendations based on those insights, and collaborating with various stakeholders to implement actions. Responsibilities: • Uncover business needs and the true questions that the company is trying to answer in order to properly frame your analysis • Leverage your SQL/Python/R coding skills to pull and organize data that is needed for your analysis • Find insights buried in the data by applying your arsenal of creative problem-solving, data exploration, and quantitative analytical skills (including statistical methods) • Assess the quantitative and qualitative impacts of possible actions based on your insight, taking into consideration our customers, our employees, and our company • Recommend actions based on your insights by effectively telling the story that is supported by data through presentations (PowerPoint), data visualizations (Tableau), and clear and concise verbal and written communications skills • Coordinate with various stakeholders to help implement and measure recommended actions • Build relationships with key stakeholders across such as Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Treasury, etc. • Continuously improve your analytical, technical, communication, and people skills through offered training and on-the-job experience to prepare for advancement into analytical leadership roles. • Become a subject matter expert for your business area by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data • Guide/mentor other analysts on best practices for analysis and data storytelling. Qualifications: Required: • MUST be able to interview ONSITE • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, providing data analytics, data analysis and creating interactive dashboards (Not looking for a Data Engineer) • Experience working with stake holders. Business understanding/ Analytical mind set. • Demonstrated relevant experience coding in SQL, Python and/or R (this will be tested during interviews) • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint, and Tableau experience. • Creative and quantitative problem-solving skills with strengths in Data Acquisition, Manipulation, Cleaning, Analysis and Presentation of Results • Basic statistics knowledge • Presentation skills including proposing strategic recommendations to management and clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field. Preferred: • MBA or Master’s degree in an analytical field • Background in Auto Finance or Consumer Lending industries • Intermediate to advanced statistics knowledge Company: A CMMI Level 5 certified company offering IT services and solutions such as cloud, IT staffing, web & mobile development, and more.
