Data Analyst
Hybrid Schedule - Mountain View, CA
Max Rate - Up to $82.50/hr
Fortune 500 Financial Services Company
5-6 months contract to hire (with possibility for extension)
Key Responsibilities
• Identify growth opportunities and influence partners to take action by providing insights to leadership on the impact of strategic initiatives.
• Support complex analytical initiatives by:
• Developing tracking and measurement frameworks
• Combining data from multiple sources to extract insights
• Reconciling assumptions and validating logic
• Identifying clear, actionable paths forward
• Partner with leadership to prioritize the highest-impact opportunities to drive business growth.
Skills / Qualifications
• Strong experience in quantitative analysis or Marketing analytics
• Proficiency in SQL (any major dialect; MySQL and PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred; other tools such as ggplot accepted)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with big data tools and ecosystems
• Experience with Python
• Experience using Spark or PySpark desired
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as:
• Computer Science
• Statistics
• Applied Math
• Econometrics
• Operations Research
2 rounds of interviewing - sql/python coding test required for 2nd interview
