Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst to partner closely with business teams, analyzing data from operational pods to drive insights, KPIs, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in SQL, Python, dashboarding tools, and data visualization, with experience working in cloud-based data environments. This role requires strong analytical thinking, data storytelling, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data from pods and translate it into KPIs, reports, and dashboards.
β’ Use HEX (SQL + Python) to query, analyze, and visualize data for decision-making.
β’ Work with Redshift as the primary analytic warehouse for querying and data preparation.
β’ Develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or HEX.
β’ Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
β’ Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports and KPIs across the business.
β’ Partner with engineering and data teams to improve data pipelines and optimize reporting capabilities.
β’ Stay up to date with modern data visualization, dashboarding, and BI practices.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
β’ Proven experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data analysis.
β’ Hands-on experience with dashboarding/BI tools (HEX, Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
β’ Experience with Amazon Redshift or other cloud-based data warehouses.
β’ Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
β’ Experience with AWS ecosystem (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena).
β’ Background in business operations or product analytics.
β’ Familiarity with data modeling and advanced analytics.
