Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $50- $55/hr
Overview
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable business insights. This role will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data through interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in translating data findings into strategic recommendations for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Gather, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business decision-making
β’ Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI
β’ Create and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets
β’ Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis and reporting
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs
β’ Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams
β’ Monitor data quality and implement processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency
β’ Develop automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
β’ Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as needed
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
β’ 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytics role
β’ Strong experience with Tableau and/or Power BI dashboard development
β’ Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
β’ Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas
β’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
β’ Ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Healthcare Experience
β’ Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
β’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
β’ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
β’ Familiarity with data modeling and database design
β’ Experience using tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift
