Data Analyst Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Pay Rate: $50- $55/hr Overview Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable business insights. This role will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data through interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in translating data findings into strategic recommendations for business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities β€’ Gather, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business decision-making β€’ Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI β€’ Create and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets β€’ Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis and reporting β€’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs β€’ Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams β€’ Monitor data quality and implement processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency β€’ Develop automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes β€’ Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as needed Required Qualifications β€’ Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field β€’ 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytics role β€’ Strong experience with Tableau and/or Power BI dashboard development β€’ Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis β€’ Experience working with large datasets and relational databases β€’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas β€’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills β€’ Ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications β€’ Healthcare Experience β€’ Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation β€’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes β€’ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform β€’ Familiarity with data modeling and database design β€’ Experience using tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift
