Data Analyst

Data Analyst – Banking – London A Data Analyst is required by a challenger bank in London on a contract basis (Outside IR35) to work with their Data Process team on a Data Excellence project. We need someone with a good Data Analytics background within a Retail Banking or Corporate Banking environment to work with the team to define Data Quality rules. You must be someone who can explain complex data practices to non-data people. They are building an AI rules engine and need help to define the rules and then crunch the data thereafter to identify and rectify data errors. You will: • Define Data Quality rules for automated data monitoring systems • Identify data quality issues in process flows You will require: • Experience of working within a UK bank • A good understanding of UK banking data • Broad knowledge of Data requirements for regulatory reporting • Experience with Cloud Data platforms (ideally GCP) • Data quality best practice Nice to have: • Data governance and data management experience This is a key role in the bank’s automation and AI strategy and you will have access to a variety of stakeholders across the business.
