Qlik Sense Solution Architect 💰 £585/day (Inside IR35) |📍 London, UK (3 days onsite) 📅 12-Month Contract We are seeking an experienced Qlik Sense Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale MI/BI reporting solutions within a highly regulated financial services environment. As a Qlik Sense Solution Architect, you will own the end-to-end architecture and technical delivery of reporting solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, performance, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and offshore delivery teams to build business-critical reporting platforms that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities • Design and architect enterprise-scale Qlik Sense reporting solutions • Define scalable data models and reporting architectures • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards • Lead technical design reviews and solution governance • Design, build, test, and deploy business-critical MI/BI dashboards • Support large-scale reporting environments with complex data structures • Ensure dashboard performance, usability, maintainability, and scalability • Drive reporting consistency, standards, and best practices • Design data warehouse models using Kimball methodologies • Define reporting data models and integration patterns • Work with data platform teams on implementation and optimisation • Support large-volume reporting environments and complex datasets • Provide technical leadership to Qlik developers and offshore teams • Review requirements, designs, and technical solutions • Support project managers and business stakeholders • Drive continuous improvement, quality initiatives, and innovation • Support Qlik Sense enterprise administration and governance • Ensure testing, deployment, version control, and release management standards • Promote test-driven development and automation • Maintain compliance with regulatory and operational risk requirements Essential Skills & Experience • Extensive Qlik Sense Solution Architecture experience • Proven delivery of large-scale Qlik dashboards handling hundreds of millions of records • Qlik Sense Enterprise Administration (QMC) • Qlik Cloud experience • Session Apps experience • Development of Qlik mashups using enigma.js • Data warehouse design using Kimball methodology • Data modelling and reporting optimisation expertise • Git/GitHub version control • Test Driven Development (TDD) • NPrinting experience • Node.js development • Jenkins and Ansible exposure • Jira and Confluence • Experience working with offshore delivery teams • Financial services or investment banking experience • Qlik Certifications Desirable Skills • AI-assisted development tools • Microservices architecture • Enterprise reporting governance • Agile leadership experience • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills • Experience producing architecture and solution documentation Please apply with your CV and we'll be in touch.
