Role description
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. β€’ Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. Title: Data Analyst - PHI (Protected Health Information) or PII (Personally Identifiable Information) specific Location: Hybrid 2-3x a week on-site in Newark, NJ Duration: 8 month contract + potential extensions Rate: 50-58HR REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Deep understanding of HR and People data, processes and architecture. - Knowledge of PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and PHI (Protected Health Information) handling - Exposure to DM&G standards and enterprise operating models - Strong experience in data analysis tooling and languages - SQL. Excel, Python - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview - including data catalog and lineage capabilities. - Experience in the HR domain or insurance industry. - Familiarity with cloud-based data lake/hub concepts and database management systems. -Experience working in Agile or cross-functional teams. JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is hiring a level four data analyst for the people domain activation project for one of their largest clients in the financial industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enabling the people domain to successfully transition into the enterprise Data-as-a-Product operating model. The analyst will partner with Domain Owners, Stewards, Data Engineering, and cross‑functional business teams to define domain scope, document data assets, elicit requirements, ensure metadata and quality standards are met, and support the build-out of People-related data products.
