Role Title: Data Analyst Location: London ( 2-3 days onsite) Duration: 31/07/2026 Pay-rate: £402 per day (PAYE through Umbrella) Role Description: • We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong hands-on exposure to Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) migration project to support an ongoing strategic initiative for our France-based team. • The ideal candidate will have previously contributed to EDP migration programs in the capacity of a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Developer, or Technical Lead, and will bring solid technical expertise, domain knowledge, and delivery experience to ensure a smooth migration, stabilization, and post-migration support. • This role demands close collaboration with onshore and offshore teams, a strong understanding of EDP architectures, data models, and migration patterns, and the ability to perform deep data analysis, validation, and issue resolution across the migration lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Provide functional and technical support to the France-based team during ongoing and post-migration EDP activities • Apply prior EDP migration experience to guide best practices, risk mitigation, and resolution of common migration challenges • Conduct data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, and validation between legacy systems and the target EDP • Support data mapping, transformation rules, and end-to-end data lineage documentation • Analyze and resolve data quality, data consistency, integrity, and performance issues • Work closely with data engineers, developers, architects, and technical leads during migration, cutover, and stabilization phases • Participate in impact analysis, requirement clarification, defect triage, and root-cause analysis • Support testing phases including SIT, UAT, parallel runs, and post-deployment validation • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, mapping documents, and knowledge transfer materials • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for EDP-related functional and technical queries within the project team Required Skills & Experience Mandatory Experience • Hands-on experience in at least one Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) migration project • Experience may be as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Developer, or Technical Lead • Strong understanding of: • Enterprise Data Platforms (EDP) and modern data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse) • Data migration strategies, cutover approaches, and reconciliation techniques Technical Skills • Advanced SQL skills for querying, troubleshooting, and validating large-scale datasets • Strong experience in data analysis, data profiling, and data validation • Solid understanding of data models, schemas (conceptual/logical/physical), and data flows • Experience working with ETL / ELT pipelines and transformation logic Good knowledge of: • Relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) • Data warehouse concepts (facts, dimensions, slowly changing dimensions) • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and controls • Ability to analyze batch and near-real-time data pipelines Delivery & Collaboration • Experience working in a large enterprise or regulated environments, preferably in banking or financial services • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-location teams, including France-based stakeholders • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data issues to non-technical stakeholders Desirable / Nice to Have • Experience with modern data ecosystems beyond EDP, such as: • Cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) • Big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) • Exposure to EDP-related tools and platforms, such as: • Data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage) • Data catalog and lineage tools • BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) • Prior involvement in migration support, stabilization, or post-migration optimization phases • Exposure to Agile / SAFe delivery models • Experience working in multi-country or European regulatory environments If you are interested in this position and would like to learn more, please send through your CV and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
