Data Analyst – Energy & Utilities

This role presents a chance to leverage your data visualization and SQL expertise to support critical business functions. You will work closely with various business units to deliver actionable insights through advanced reporting tools and data solutions, contributing to strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Build and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau for the gas business unit. • Develop and optimize SQL queries and views within Google BigQuery to support data analytics needs. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify technical requirements and deliver tailored data solutions. • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data by validating and troubleshooting data sources and reports. • Support ongoing data initiatives and ad hoc analysis requests to drive business insights. Qualifications • Proven expertise in SQL with experience developing complex queries and data views. • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau. • Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar cloud-based data warehouses. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy. • Effective communication skills for liaising between technical teams and business partners. • Experience with Python for data manipulation or automation is a plus.
