We are seeking a highly skilled Excel expert to support data analysis, reporting, and process optimization on a 1099 contract basis. This role will focus on project-based work as needed and requires advanced Excel expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex data into accurate, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and optimize complex Excel workbooks, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data models
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, errors, and opportunities for improvement
Create dashboards, reports, and automated tools to support business and compliance needs
Clean, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources
Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data accuracy and integrity
Document processes and maintain clear version control of files
Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, lookups, conditional logic)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with large or complex datasets
Experience integrating Excel with other systems or tools preferred
Familiarity with benefit plan data and reporting preferred
