Role description
Data & Reporting Analyst About the Role This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping how operational data is used to drive real business decisions within a Manufacturing Engineering environment. This is a 11 month contract till end of April paying £216 a day- will be extended with the possibility to go Perm. You will take ownership of reporting and data solutions, working closely with stakeholders to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. Your work will directly influence performance, efficiency, and decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be building and maintaining Tableau dashboards, working with SQL to extract and transform data, and helping to improve data capture and reporting processes. You will also have the opportunity to automate workflows and enhance data capture using Power Apps and Power Automate, helping to streamline processes and reduce manual effort. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data end-to-end, and seeing the real impact of their work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities • Identify reporting gaps and opportunities for improvement with stakeholders • Extract, clean, and transform operational data using SQL • Design and develop impactful Tableau dashboards • Automate data processes and reporting workflows • Develop Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to improve data capture • Collaborate with engineering, digital, and data teams to deliver solutions Skills & Experience Essential: • Strong experience building dashboards using Tableau • Confident using SQL for data extraction and transformation • Understanding of data modelling and relational databases • Experience automating data processes • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Desirable: • Experience with enterprise data warehouses and large datasets • Experience with ETL processes and data transformation • Experience with Python • Background in data, analytics, or a related field
