OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and be proficient in various analytical tools and programming languages. This role is essential in helping our organization make data-driven decisions by transforming raw data into meaningful insights. The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable recommendations.
Duties
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business objectives.
Conduct thorough business analysis to support decision-making processes across various departments.
Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation of tasks.
Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into databases.
Design and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other database management systems.
Participate in Agile project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope.
Document processes using Visio and maintain clear records of data sources, methodologies, and findings.
Qualifications
Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a plus.
Strong understanding of database design principles and experience with ETL tools like Talend.
Programming skills in R, Python, VBA, or Bash (Unix shell) for data processing tasks.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
