Looking for Data analyst with Data Steward exp. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in the financial industry and deep expertise in financial data structures and modeling. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving data-driven decision-making and supporting the development of scalable systems. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to financial systems and data. • Design and document data models that support business processes and reporting needs. • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data. • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams. • Work closely with architects and developers to support microservices-based system design. • Create and maintain documentation using tools like Swaggerhub for API specifications. • Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements. • Support testing and validation of system changes and enhancements. • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 7–10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role. • Strong understanding of financial industry practices and financial data structures. • Proficiency in data modeling and SQL. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Swaggerhub for API documentation. • Understanding of microservices architecture and design principles. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. • Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
