Are you a data-driven problem solver with a passion for making an impact in children’s services? We're looking for a Data Analyst to support Regulated Services & Resources with insightful reporting that directly influences service delivery, policy, and outcomes for children at risk of entering care.
This is a unique opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams, including the Children’s Homes Finding Team, Fostering Development Team, and Edge of Care, delivering data insights that truly make a difference.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Analyse, interpret and visualise complex data sets to support operational decision-making and long-term strategic planning
Provide accurate, timely reports focused on areas such as placement stability, fostering recruitment, kinship assessments, and service performance
Collaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into actionable insights using tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, R and social care systems (e.g., Mosaic)
Ensure data compliance with statutory reporting requirements (e.g., SSDA903)
Support continuous improvement in services for children in or at risk of entering care
Handle sensitive data in line with data protection and governance standards
Contribute to service transformation, quality assurance, and financial planning through data insight
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in data analysis, performance reporting, or business intelligence
Strong technical skills in tools like Power BI, SQL, R, or Python
A sound understanding of children’s social care and/or regulated services is desirable
Ability to manage complex data sets and translate them into meaningful visual reports
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
Comfortable working independently and within matrix/multidisciplinary teams
Familiarity with social care data systems (e.g., Mosaic) is a plus
