Job Description
Growing healthcare start up in the DFW area is looking for an experienced LVN or RN that has experience working in acute care facilities caring for a variety of patients. Strongly prefer someone that has computer skills doing internet research and has worked with Excel.
β’ Experience in Procurement of Med/Surg equipment used in a hospital is a plus.
β’ Must have experience from the Hospital rather than from surgical centers. Should know the products and equipment used in general nursing.
β’ As a Data Analyst will perform data cleansing and analysis.
β’ The purpose of this role is to classify millions of medical products into categories that the healthcare organizations purchase and in such a way that it will drive sales up and will drive the buyer to greater volumes.
β’ Some of the job duties include your solid Excel or other computer SW experience to do sorting, importing/exporting.
β’ Willingness and good attitude in learning additional computer skills.
β’ Should have done research of data over the internet and be able to use common sense analyzing the data.
β’ Must be intuitive and have a natural curiosity - knowing when to ask questions and what types of questions to ask.
β’ This is a semi non-technical job and you will need to be capable of learning things quickly and an ability to do very detailed computer work for long periods of time (much different than the OR).
β’ Must have a tolerance level for repetitive work that can get very monotonous yet remain very detail oriented.
β’ Primary skills required is that ability to logic things out, categorize and use the internet to do some research for verification purposes.
β’ Any experience in a "service industry" will be very helpful.
β’ Responsibilities will be to work with the categorization and product groupings of various medical products and services.
