Overview:
This Data Analyst role supports a Strategy & Operations organization by delivering fast, high-impact performance analysis and executive-ready storytelling. The analyst will help leaders understand what changed week-over-week, why it changed, and what factors are influencing results in real time. This is an individual contributor position (non-supervisory), but the role is highly visible and critical to performance management and decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Pull, analyze, and interpret performance data across multiple systems and business functions
• Generate recurring and ad hoc reporting from tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, and Tableau
• Build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to support business performance tracking
• Use SQL and cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS) to extract and analyze data efficiently
• Identify trends and volume shifts, and proactively report on drivers and root causes
• Develop executive-facing presentations that clearly communicate insights, trends, and themes
• Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Revenue Assurance, Marketing, Product, and IT to support deep dives and business cases
• Support operational metrics, escalation reduction efforts, and process improvement initiatives
• Analyze complex policies and workflows and recommend improvements
• Demonstrate curiosity and leverage AI and emerging tools to improve speed, quality, and impact of analysis
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in a data analyst or performance analytics role
• Advanced Excel skills (daily use, high comfort level expected)
• Strong SQL skills (ability to modify and extend existing queries quickly)
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and executive-level communication
• Experience working with dashboards and BI tools (Power BI and/or Tableau)
• Familiarity with modern data environments (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Math, Data Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
