We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join their team in Santa Monica. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic, creative environment and enjoys partnering closely with studio leaders, producers, and operations to deliver actionable insights and production-quality analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Own the intake, triage, and delivery of analytics requests from studio stakeholders, translating business questions into clear analytical plans and success metrics.
β’ Independently design, build, and maintain end-to-end data solutionsβincluding ETL/ELT pipelines, Airflow orchestration, Databricks transformations, advanced SQL analysis, and Tableau dashboards.
β’ Develop, publish, and optimize interactive dashboards in Tableau to support decision-making across the organization.
β’ Ensure data reliability and performance through advanced SQL techniques (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning).
β’ Manage a personal backlog, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results with minimal oversight.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, define project scope, and iterate on analytics solutions.
β’ Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Masterβs degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
β’ 2β3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics or data engineering.
β’ Proven expertise with Databricks and advanced SQL (including complex joins, window functions, and performance optimization).
β’ Strong experience building, publishing, and optimizing dashboards in Tableau.
β’ Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals, including ETL/ELT processes, Airflow orchestration, and job scheduling/monitoring.
β’ Self-directed work styleβable to manage own backlog and deliver results independently.
PAY - 45-55/hr
