Position: Data Analyst
Location: Raleigh NC or Charlotte NC or Atlanta GA
Job Description:
β’ Lead the design and development of technical and non-functional requirements for reporting, monitoring, and auditing functions while adhering to enterprise information strategy.
β’ Design, implement, and execute complex recurring or ad hoc reporting tools to support our Line of Businesses
β’ Analyze disparate data from enterprise systems and derive insights to support project, department, and compliance needs.
β’ Develop and maintain data dictionaries, definitions, data flows and entity relationships for systems under consideration.
β’ Facilitate discussions/workshops to elicit reporting and data analysis needs while collaborating with business analysts, enterprise architects, team leads, stakeholders and subject matter experts.
β’ Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core business functions, data flows and process flows associated with assigned business areas and projects.
β’ Observe and ensure strict adherence to all Technology and Truist policies and standards (e.g., Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Change Management).
Required Qualifications: -
β’ Experience as a data analyst, or a similar role, with data analysis and reporting experience in one or more of the following areas: Information Security, Business Process Management, Identity and Access management, Business Operations, Quality
β’ Advanced skills in data wrangling, data engineering, data science, or related areas.
β’ Strong experience with languages and tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, Qlik, Tableau, etc
β’ Proven experience in leading the development of functional and/or technical requirements in the traditional Waterfall SDLC and/or Agile/Lean methodologies.
β’ Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous improvement environment.
β’ Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
