Data Analyst Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid – Mon–Thu onsite, Fri remote) Contract to hire Overview An enterprise cruise line client is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Onboard Revenue side of the business. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, database work, and business strategy, supporting pricing, inventory, and revenue optimization initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate is hybrid analytics professional- someone who is technically strong (SQL, Power BI, Excel), comfortable with heavy coding and data migration work, and able to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for business leaders. Key Responsibilities • Support the Onboard Revenue strategy team, primarily focused on pricing changes and inventory optimization • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical reports to support leadership decision-making • Perform heavy SQL-based analysis and database work, including data extraction, transformation, and validation • Support the migration of data from Oracle to a cloud-based data platform, including hands-on coding and troubleshooting • Develop analytics that drive revenue growth, yield optimization, and cost savings • Partner cross-functionally with teams across the organization on ad-hoc analytical requests (e.g., product development, capacity additions, yield analysis) • Translate technical findings into clear business insights for non-technical stakeholders • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting and analytics solutions Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have • 3+ years of enterprise analytics experience with demonstrated technical depth • Strong SQL skills (joins, complex queries, data analysis fundamentals) • Experience building end-to-end Power BI dashboards • Advanced Excel skills used in day-to-day analytical workflows • Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data to business outcomes Preferred / Differentiators • Background in Business Intelligence or Analytics (vs. pure data engineering) • Experience supporting pricing, inventory, or revenue optimization initiatives • Exposure to data platform migrations (Oracle or similar legacy systems to cloud environments) • Comfort operating in fast-paced, cross-functional enterprise environments Why This Role • High-impact position supporting core revenue-driving initiatives • Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale data platform migration • Blend of technical depth and business strategy—ideal for analytics professionals seeking visibility and influence
