Role Description This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners. Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Data Analyst - Contractor to work with the North America Sales and Operations teams. This is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment. โ€ข Location - Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid) or USA - Remote โ€ข Duration - 5 months As a Data Analyst (Contractor), you will directly and visibly contribute to our overall success and daily operations within the North America NetSec GTM team and will report to the Sr. Manager, NetSec Programs & Operations This role is pivotal to the success of the GTM organization, is collaborative in nature, and will continue to flex and grow as the organization matures. This position calls for someone who possesses a good data analytical background and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. Your Impact โ€ข Provide analytic data to support our annual sales planning including quota planning, go-to-market modeling, capacity modeling and optimization โ€ข Convert raw data into well-presented and useful business information that drives business decisions โ€ข Drive standards of performance and specific activities that align with the predefined success criteria for the sales organization; track and report on these activities to ensure outcomes are on track/met. โ€ข Track regularly the metrics on general business performance, average discounts, non-standard exceptions etc, recommend action items for improvement Skills & Experience โ€ข Excellent analytical skills (5-7 years of experience) with strong attention to detail, experience using reporting and analytics applications preferred; Salesforce preferred โ€ข Advanced skills in Excel/gSheets & SQL โ€ข Advanced skillsets with Tableau dashboarding, or LookerStudio dashboarding โ€ข Experience with Googleโ€™s G Suite (Gemini, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides) Education Bachelor's Degree in any field or equivalent work experience Bachelorโ€™s Degree in statistics, analytics, or finance preferred Compensation The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $65/hour to $70/hour.
